The addon uses automated cron jobs to perform regular background syncs between platforms. This ensures that any updates made on Eventbrite—such as changes to dates, times, or descriptions—are automatically reflected on your website without manual intervention.

Will imported events match my existing website design?

Yes. All linked, imported, and published events will have EventCard integrated EventBrite content. Imported events from eventbrite will use EventON event design and layouts.

Do I need to manually create events in WordPress after importing?

No. The import and publishing feature handles the creation process for you. Once you pull the data from Eventbrite, it is instantly established within your EventON ecosystem, saving you significant administrative time.

What happens if I update ticket data on Eventbrite?

The automated sync captures these changes. During the scheduled cron job, price updates made on Eventbrite are pulled through to your site, ensuring your customers always see the most current data.

Can I use both manual events and Eventbrite events together?

Yes. You can seamlessly mix manually created EventON events with imported Eventbrite events. They will coexist perfectly within your calendars, lists, and maps as if they were all created in the same place.

How does the system handle canceled or deleted events?

The synchronization process monitors event status. If an event is canceled or removed from Eventbrite, the addon updates the status on your website to prevent users from attempting to book inactive events.

Is there a way to control which Eventbrite events appear on my site?

Yes. You have full control over the import process. You can select specific events to import and publish, allowing you to curate exactly which listings from your Eventbrite account are visible to your website visitors.
