There was some bugs in the auto update which we have resolved in 2.8.1 so going forward you should be able to use the auto updaters. here is how to update eventON in the mean time. http://docs.myeventon.com/documentations/update-eventon/ If you have any questions kindly send us a ticket via helpdesk.ashanjay.com

That is also our end goal to make all the aspected of addons compatible with features of eventON

Hi—my plug-in does not show as having an update available. How do we install 2.8? Will it give us the option to update automatically within our admin panel, or do we need to download the new version somewhere? Thank you!

I hope this means we’re one step closer to being able to use addons like reminders and variations & options with EventOn repeating events. All addons need to be fully compatible with all of the functionality of EventOn.
